WebbyCity Private Limited is proud to share that Provider.lk, our web hosting and domain services brand, served as the Official Industry & Networking Partner at the 16th annual BestWeb.LK Awards Ceremony, held at the Monarch Imperial on August 12, 2026.
The event brought together Sri Lanka’s digital community, including web design agencies, freelance developers, businesses, corporate leaders, and ICT professionals, to celebrate outstanding work and innovation across the country’s web industry.
Organized by the LK Domain Registry, BestWeb.LK remains Sri Lanka’s only dedicated web design competition. Entries are evaluated based on defined judging criteria by a distinguished panel of ICT industry professionals, academics, and business leaders.
During the official stage proceedings, Provider.lk was announced and recognized as the Official Industry & Networking Partner, acknowledging our contribution to the event and our continued involvement in Sri Lanka’s digital ecosystem.
Supporting Sri Lanka’s Digital Community
As a web hosting and domain services provider serving Sri Lankan businesses and digital professionals since 2009, Provider.lk has always been closely connected to the people building and maintaining the country’s online presence.
Our participation in BestWeb.LK 2026 provided an opportunity to support the competition while connecting directly with the designers, developers, agencies, and businesses behind many of Sri Lanka’s digital experiences.
The evening was not only a celebration of the year’s nominees and winners, but also an opportunity for the wider web community to meet, exchange ideas, and build new connections.
Spotlighting eCloud.lk
As part of Provider.lk’s presence at the event, we also had the opportunity to introduce eCloud.lk, the sister brand of Provider.lk within the WebbyCity network. eCloud.lk is Sri Lanka’s first cloud marketplace, providing cloud infrastructure, hosting, and digital workspace solutions for businesses and professionals.
The official eCloud.lk showcase video was displayed during the ceremony, giving attendees an introduction to the platform and its range of cloud solutions. The eCloud.lk showcase video presented at the event is featured below.
Being able to introduce eCloud.lk to an audience of web professionals, businesses, and digital teams made the event an excellent opportunity to showcase another part of the WebbyCity ecosystem.
Connecting Through the BestWeb.LK Event Booklet
One of the interactive elements of this year’s event was the official BestWeb.LK booklet provided to attendees.
The booklet featured the logos of BestWeb.LK sponsors as well as nominees across the different award categories, with the logos made scannable for attendees.
For nominee logos, attendees could scan the relevant entries and cast their votes for the websites they believed deserved recognition. Sponsor logos also provided an opportunity for attendees to engage with the organizations supporting BestWeb.LK.
As a sponsor, the Provider.lk logo was included in the booklet as part of this interactive experience. Attendees who scanned the Provider.lk logo were entered into the sponsor raffle draw, giving them an opportunity to win gifts from our team.
eCloud.lk Raffle Draw
We were delighted to connect with attendees who scanned our logo and took the time to learn more about Provider.lk and eCloud.lk.
As part of the raffle draw, selected winners were given the opportunity to choose between two introductory eCloud.lk offers:
- Google Workspace: 5 Google Workspace accounts free for the first month.
- Cloud VPS: 2 GB Cloud VPS with a free cPanel license for the first month.
The raffle gave us another opportunity to introduce attendees to eCloud.lk and its cloud and digital workspace solutions while adding an interactive element to our participation at the event.
A Night of Web Excellence and Connection
BestWeb.LK was a memorable evening for everyone involved, bringing together the creative, technical, and business communities that continue to shape Sri Lanka’s digital landscape.
For Provider.lk, being part of the event as the Official Industry & Networking Partner was an opportunity to support the country’s web community, celebrate the achievements of local creators, and introduce eCloud.lk to a new audience.
We extend our congratulations to all the BestWeb.LK 2026 nominees and winners, and our sincere thanks to the LK Domain Registry for organizing another successful edition of the competition.
It was a pleasure connecting with everyone who engaged with the Provider.lk and eCloud.lk brands throughout the evening.
We look forward to continuing to support Sri Lanka’s digital community through Provider.lk, eCloud.lk, and the wider WebbyCity network.
